THIS MONTH'S FEATURED SOPStandard operating procedures (SOPs) for management practices in the VBP program are designed to reduce or eliminate the possibility of a food safety concern on a beef cattle operation. This month's featured SOP is Feed and Water. Managing the mixing of medicated feed takes planning and equipment that functions properly. Keep feed mixing and covered storage areas tidy to help manage fecal contamination from birds, rodents and other animals. |
