SIGN UP FOR WORKSHOPS The first step for beef producers to participate in the VBP program is to sign-up to attend VBP workshops that are held regularly across the country. Contact your local Provincial Delivery Agent (PDA) for the latest information on workshop dates and how to participate. more »		POCKET RECORD BOOK Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for management practices in the VBP program are designed to reduce or eliminate the possibility of a food safety concern on a beef cattle operation. Producers are reminded to contact local VBP provincial coordinators for a free "Pocket Record Book." It includes calving, treatments, pasture movement and information on Canadian Cattle Identification Agency national ID and age verification.		VBP PRODUCER MANUAL The VBP Producer Manual is the beef producers' guidebook to the VBP program. It includes information on all standard operating procedures (SOPs), along with helpful guidelines, sample records and references.
