SIGN UP FOR WORKSHOPS The first step for beef producers to participate in the VBP program is to sign-up to attend VBP workshops that are held regularly across the country. Contact your local Provincial Delivery Agent (PDA) for the latest information on workshop dates and how to participate. more »		THIS MONTH'S FEATURED SOP Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for management practices in the VBP program are designed to reduce or eliminate the possibility of a food safety concern on a beef cattle operation. This month's featured SOP is Pesticides and Manure management. Producers are required to manage herbicides or general farm pesticides and manure in a manner that avoids contamination of feed, water or directly to the cattle. more »		VBP PRODUCER MANUAL The VBP Producer Manual is the beef producers' guidebook to the VBP program. It includes information on all standard operating procedures (SOPs), along with helpful guidelines, sample records and references.
